Privacy

What we store

Profiles, posts, likes, reposts and follows are stored off-chain by Tape.

Your profile holds your wallet address, a handle, a display name, a bio and an avatar. If you link X, it also holds your X id and X username, and whether you accept creator fees.

Images you upload are stored by us, or pinned to public IPFS when the deployment uses an IPFS service.

We do not store an email address, a password or a private key. We never ask for a seed phrase.

What is public

Your profile, your posts, your likes, your reposts and your follows are visible to everyone.

Prices, trades and charts come from the chain. Chain data is public and permanent. We keep a copy of curve trades to draw charts. We cannot delete anything from the chain.

Cookies

We set one cookie when you sign in. It keeps you signed in for 14 days. It is encrypted and cannot be read by scripts.

We run no analytics and no advertising trackers.

Other services

Your browser talks to services we do not control: your wallet and WalletConnect, a Robinhood Chain RPC, Google Fonts, X when you link your account, and IPFS when an image is served from it. Each one can see your IP address.

An image uploaded to IPFS is public.

Deleting your data

You can delete your posts, likes, reposts and follows at any time.

You can delete your account yourself, from Settings. Deleting your account removes your likes, your follows and the images you uploaded, hides your posts, and clears your profile and your X link.

On-chain data and images pinned to IPFS cannot be removed.
